Mireya & Christopher Lara
Mireya & Co. is a two-member team dedicated to executing your vision for your special day.
Mireya, the founder of Mireya & Co., started event planning as early as elementary school. With her dream realized at a young age, she continued to work at the craft by joining school events planning committees up to college. At San Diego State University, Mireya earned a certificate in Meeting and Event Planning in addition to her Business Administration and Spanish dual degrees.
By chance, Mireya hosted her first wedding solo in June 2017. The planner she was helping coordinate had a baby three days before the wedding. Despite the nerves, Mireya ensured the client’s special day happened just as promised. It must have, as she received her first referral and planned her first completely solo wedding that same year in September. She went on to plan and coordinate momentous events.
In addition to weddings and parties, Mireya has worked as the Event Coordinator for Welk Resorts from 2019-2020. She was responsible for 50+ events that ranged from small to large groups and casual to formal settings. These events were hosted in various locations, such as the resort, San Diego Bay, and the Angels Stadium.
Mireya and Chris have decided to turn her passion into a business and established Mireya & Co. in 2020. Together they combine their strengths to make your cherished moments happen.
Mireya just had her biggest wedding yet, her own! Mireya and Chris celebrated their wedding in June of 2021.
